Where exposure level is not known, wear NIOSH approved positive pressure self contained respirator. Where exposure level is known, wear NIOSH approved respirator suitable for level of exposure, if needed. In addition to the protective clothing/ equipment in "Personal Protective Equipment" wear impervious boots and rain suit. Cover spills with compatible absorbent material. Transfer to suitable container for disposal or reclamation.

VENTILATION REQUIREMENTS: Provide sufficient mechanical (general) and/or local exhaust to maintain exposure below any established Threshold Limit Value


SPECIFIC PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT


RESPIRATORY: Where exposure levels are below Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL), no respiratory protection is required. Where exposures exceed PEL, use respirator approved by NIOSH for the material and level of exposure. Refer to "Guide To Industrial Respiratory Protection" (NIOSH).

EYE: NIOSH/MSHA- approved safety glasses, goggles or face shield when there is possible contact.

SKIN: Impervious gloves, apron, and other necessary clothing to prevent contact.

OTHER HYGIENIC AND WORK PRACTICES: Engineering controls are usually not necessary if good hygiene practices are followed. Before eating, drinking, or smoking wash hands thoroughly with soap and water. Accessible eyewash fountain and safety shower recommended.
